In 2015, MMK reduced steel production by 6.1% to 12.2 million tons

In 2015, Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant (MMK) reduced the steel production by 6.1% as compared with the previous year to 12.23 million tons, the company reports. In the fourth quarter, the figure decreased by 7.8% as compared with the previous quarter to 2.9 million tons.

Last year, the shipments of commodity products (excluding internal rotation) made up 11.2 million tons, which is by 8% less than in 2014. In the fourth quarter, this figure decreased by 7.7% as compared with the previous quarter to 2.7 million tons.
