Oil production in the Irkutsk region to rise slightly in 2014.

In 2014 the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Irkutsk region predicts a slight increase of oil and gas extraction in comparison with 2013, Oleg Kravchuk, the head of the ministry, stated on Tuesday.
According to Kravchuk, a slowdown in raw materials production occurred due to the fact that the major mining companies in the region have come close to the shelf production.
