Rosneft no longer to cooperate with Fitch Ratings

“Rosneft” and Fitch Ratings have announced about the ceasing of cooperation. In October, the rating agency lowered the credit rating of the state-run company and assigned negative outlook in 2014 for the acquisition of TNK-BP, “Kommersant” writes.

On Monday, Rosneft stated about the termination of cooperation with the rating agency Fitch Ratings due to the expiration of contract and their unwillingness to extend it. Fitch Rating withdraws the ratings, assigned to the oil company and its subsidiaries, as well as to debt securities. As they say in Rosneft, the company is going to keep cooperation with Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s and observe obligations on providing information support of the agencies in order they could assign credit ratings.
