Gazpromneft completes the first stage of assessment of Bazhenov group’s reserves at the South-Priobskoye field

Gazpromneft has completed the testing of 4 directional wells to explore the reserves of the Bazhenov horizon of the Priobskoye field.
The results obtained allowed the company to solve the basic problem of the first phase of the project: to be sure that zones with removable oil reserves are located in the Bazhenov formation.
After the operation of hydraulic fracturing at all wells, a flow of hydrocarbons of varying intensity was obtained.
The first shale oil at the South-Priobskoye field was got by operator Gazpromneft-Khantos in late January 2015, from the first two exploration wells.
