Ministry of Finance to return its debt to Bashneft

The company tries to make the Ministry of Finance of Bashkiria pay its debt.

192.5 mln roubles might be paid from the budget of Bashkiria to Bashneft that has been returned to the Government property. The company reminded of the debt in the autumn 2014 in the process of hearings concerning its privatization. The Ministry of Finance of Bashkiria doesn’t acknowledge the financial claims of Bashneft.

On February 19th the arbitration Court of Bashkiria satisfied a claim of Bashneft on proving illegal the actions of the Ministry of Finance of Bashkiria that had refused to make and execute the Court’s requirement on the payment of debt of 192.5 mln roubles. Bashneft collected the debt at the Arbitration Court from the Ministry of Natural Resources of Bashkiria in 2006. The agency paid the company in full for geological exploration held in the framework of the execution of the state contract as of 2001. The value of the contract made up 1.21 bln roubles, Bashneft received only 1.02 bln roubles. The company was issued the enforcement order for the collection of the rest amount and the company submitted it to the Ministry of Finance of Bashkiria. However, by the document was revoked by the company each time, is reported.
