Annual meeting of Tatneft’s shareholders to be held on June 24th

​The date of registry closing is May 6th.

The Board has approved a list of candidates for the election at the meeting consisting of 6 people. Based on the “golden share”, a representative of Tatarstan in the Board of Directors is the President R. Minnikhanov, a list of 14 candidates was approved. Currently there are 15 people in the Board.

3 new candidates are included into the list for voting: Y. Levin- managing partner of BVM Capital Partners Ltd, R. Nurmukhametov – head of NGDU Leninogorskneft and deputy CEO of Tatneft, R. Khalimov.

Besides R. Minnikhanov, the list comprises the current members: CEO of Tatneft, N. Maganov, independent director, R. Steiner, managing director of MOL Oman Limited, L. Gerech, Minister of Finance, R. Gayzatullin, first deputy CEO for production-chief engineer of Tatneft, N. Ibagimov, consultant to the President of Tatarstan for the issues of development of oil and oil and gas deposits, R. Muslimov, advisor to the President of Tatarstan, R. Sabirov, CEO of Svyazneftechem, V. Sorokin, advisor to the chairman of Tatneft, Sh. Takhautdinov, Minister of Land and Property relations, A. Khamaev, deputy CEO-chief geologist of Tatneft, R. Khisamov.
