Equipment design for oil processing unit at Moscow oil refinery has started
In the framework of the realization of the project of construction of a combined oil refinery unit Euro+ at the Moscow oil refinery plant, the manufacturing of the column equipment has started. AEM-Technologies (in the structure of the car manufacturing division of GC Rosatom-Atomenergomash) will produce the vacuum and atmospheric columns for the installation of Euro+. The shipment of columns is planned to start by water in the summer 2016.
The diameter of the vacuum column is 11 m, the length is over 45 m, weight – 460 tons. It will be produced by the Vologda branch of “AEM-technologies”. Currently the works on the elements of the column body are held, the bottom welding is coming to the end. Large units of the column will be shipped from a special pier. The atmospheric column is also a large unit, its length is over 66 m, inner diameter -6.5 m, weight -325 tons.
The combined oil refinery unit Euro+, which will be constructed at the Moscow oil refinery plant in the framework of the large-scale modernization, is meant for the primary oil processing, production of high-octane petrol and diesel fuel of Euro-5 standard, as well as vacuum gasoil. As a result of putting into operation of Euro+, the volume of oil processing at the Moscow oil refinery plant will grow by 12 mln tons. the construction of a new unit will allow to increase the company’s energy efficiency level, reduce the burden on the environment, increase the in-between-repair period of operation of the equipment from 2 to 4 years and optimize the production territory of the Moscow oil refinery plant by means of putting out of operation of a number of old units.
