The Prime Minister of the Ukraine N.Azarov confirmed the plans on the conclusion of a gas agreement with Azerbaijan before the end of 2014. He said about it in an interview to TV channel “Mir”.
The Prime Minister considers Azeri gas supply via Russia to be an optimal variant. “What does Azeri gas mean for us? It must be pumped through the gas pipelines via Russia or we must build a gas liquefaction plant and gas dilution plant and buy tankers for gas transmission. It means some heavy expenses. This scheme seems to be hard-to-move, to say the truth,” he said.
