Lukoil has left Lukoil Polska

Lukoil has left its affiliate Lukoil Polska having reduced its participation stake to 0.

In 2004 Lukoil had serious plans on the construction of fuel stations in Poland.

In 2004 Lukoil occupied 12% of the Polish LNG market and was the only Russian company in the Polish oil market.

Lukoil owned 130 fuel stations at that time.

On Feb 5th 2016 LUKOIL Europe Holdings BV and AMIC Energy Management GmbH (Austria) signed a contract on the sale of about 230 fuel stations in Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.

In April 2015 the company sold 240 fuel stations and 6 oil bases in the Ukraine.

The buyer was the same AMIC Energy Management GmbH.

Lukoil selling its assets in the Baltic states purchases new assets in the Netherlands and Benelux countries.

Lukoil plans to purchase about 250 fuel stations.

The deal on the purchase is planned to be closed not later than Q2 2016.
