Trutnev opposes privatization of Alrosa’s shares at “bottom” of the market

The Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev has found inappropriate privatization of Alrosa’s package at the current state of the market.

"For a while, the issue is under discussion. I have expressed my opinion. First, I see nothing particularly wrong in the sale of shares... The second, I believe that now is not the best time to sell. You can sell. But to sell now, on the "bottom" of the market - why? Can’t we wait. That’s not true, we can... It’s strange idea,"- said Trutnev, answering the journalists' questions about the proposed privatization of the 10.9% stake in Alrosa.
