Norilsk Nickel explores Maslovskoye deposit illegally

This follows on from the February report of Norilsk Nickel's inspection, held by Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage. The document states that a technical error was made in license for exploration of the Maslovskoye deposit in the Norilsk district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, issued in August of 2006.

The coordinates of one of the four points, defined the area of ​​the deposit, was incorrect, an error made up 1 degree. As a result, the land area for the exploration was increased from 24 to 91 square kilometers And the main ore body of the deposit, which Norilsk Nickel was to survey, remained outside the license boundaries. Due to the error within the license coordinates appeared, for example, Chyornogorskoye copper-nickel deposit.
