Shell to continue business in Russia despite the Western sanctions.

Despite the sanctions, imposed by the Western countries for Russian annexation of the Crimea, the British - Dutch petroleum company Royal Dutch Shell is going to expand its business in the country.

Ben van Burden, the head of a multinational corporation, assured the Russian President Vladimir Putin, NewEurope states. "We are extremely interested in strengthening our position in the Russian Federation", - the executive director of Shell stated, adding that he hoped for continuous operation of the company in the state.
