In 2014 "VSMPO-AVISMA" increased production of titanium products to 29.264 thousand tons from 28.855 thousand a year earlier, according to a company report. Thus, the production growth was 1.4%. At the same time, in the reporting period VSMPO continued to pursue a strategy of increasing the share of products of deeper processing in production. In particular, the stampings growth was 12%.
Compared with 2007 the volume of manufacture of forgings and stampings with machining doubled and could increase by 4 times by 2018. Today 28% of the total sales volume are stampings after machining, the report informs.
