In 2016, Gazprom to start construction of five gas pipelines in the Vologda region
Today, a working meeting of chairman of the Gazprom’s Board Alexei Miller, and the Vologda region’s Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikova took placeat the central office of Gazprom.
The parties discussed the progress on the agreement of cooperation. It was noted that the company's projects, implemented in the territory of the Vologda region, are of key importance for the development of Russian Unified Gas Supply System. For example, in 2011-2015, the amount of the Gazprom’s capital investments (including its subsidiaries) made up about 186 billion rubles. The funds were used mainly to develop new gas transportation facilities. In particular, sections of gas pipelines of Gryazovets - Vyborg, Ukhta – Torzhok were built, the expansion of the Gryazovets gas transmission hub was carried out.
The implementation of the strategic projects in the region continues. This year, the company's efforts are focused on works related to the construction of the section of the Ukhta - Torzhok – 2 gas pipeline, the reconstruction of compressor station Yubileinaya. Also the implementation of the project of construction of a gas bend and distribution stations to Kirillov, Belozersky, Lipin Bor, Vytegra continues, which will allow the company to organize gas supply to four districts of the region with population of about 55 thousand people. In general, Gazprom plans to invest about 25 billion rubles in these projects.
