Oil production in Russia may go down in 3-4 years – LUKOIL

Oil production will start declining in 2016-2017 if there is not the application of new technologies and a reform of the taxation system of the oil sector. The information is given in the survey of oil and gas markets development tendencies until 2025, prepared by the specialists of LUKOIL.

As the Information Agency Finmarket reports, the licences for the development of large deposits on the balance of Rosnedra, such as Lodochnoye, the one named after Shpilman and Imilorsky were distributed in 2012. The specialists of LUKOIL say that the launch of new large deposit in the medium term will be restricted therefore.
