150 billion rubles are planned to be invested into Omsk petrochemical cluster before 2025

The Investment Council under the Governor of the Omsk region has approved the concept of a regional petrochemical cluster's development. It is assumed that the amount of investments, attracted in 2014-2025, will make up 150 billion rubles, the regional government’s press centre reported.

It is expected that residents of the cluster will increase the production 1.4 times by 2020, and 1.6 times by 2025. The number of employees will grow 1.7 times to 4 thousand people. Tax payments to the consolidated budget will increase to 5 billion rubles in 2020, and to 7 billion rubles in five years.

"The development of the petrochemical cluster will give the region high-tech jobs, tax revenues to the budget, good wages in the industries and products of international standards. All will integrated to achieve the complex effect," – the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Omsk region, Viktor Belov explained.
