European companies are already showing interest in cooperation on the joint management of the Ukrainian gas transport system of GTS.
Both legal and economic issues, the necessary legislative changes are being discussed, A.Kobolev, the Naftogaz management chairman, stated on June 23rd.
"Attracting European companies to manage the Ukrainian gas transportation system will significantly improve its reliability in the eyes of the EU and make it unnecessary for Russia to continue the construction of the "South Stream" - A.Kobolev stated.
