India to invest $400 mln into geological exploration of hydrocarbons at the shelf of the Caspian Sea

The country will invest $400 million into the prospecting of oil and gas deposits of Kazakhstan and consider variants of supply to its market. The decision has been taken at the meeting of bilateral intergovernmental commission for economy, sci-tech and cultural cooperation, held in New-Delhi.
