Kinross started prospecting and evaluation works in the Providensky district

CJSC “Chukotskaya GGK” (belongs to Kinross Gold) has introduced a schedule of geological exploration at 2 new prospective sites,the Erguveem and Pepenveem in the Providensky district, which the company acquired in February 2013, to the regional administration.
“Chukotskaya GGK” has already started prospecting and evaluation survey at the licensed territory. They will extend this until November. There caried out geochemical prospecting – sample collection on a regular (systematic) network. It will allow the evaluating of the possibility of finding out minerals (gold, silver and other metals). Further geological exploration for 2014-2017 will be planned following the current results.
