The construction of Bratsk metallurgical plant to start in autumn

The construction of a metallurgical plant in Bratsk (the Irkutsk region) should start in August- September of 2014. The works are scheduled to be completed in 2017, the BaykalPost reports, referring to the government of the Irkutsk region.

The designated capacity of the Bratsk metallurgical plant is 0.2 million tons of long products per year.

A key supplier of industrial raw materials is the company Vtorchermet. The same company is also the initiator of the project.
