Fuel leak and fire at oil refinery “VPK-Oil”

There was spilt fuel at oil processing plant “VPK-Oil” in Novosibirsk region on Sunday evening and it burst into flames. There are no casualties.
A fuel leakage occurred at 7.30 p.m. during the repair of the fractional column. The fuel spilt on an area of about 100 square meters and burst into flames. The fire was contained. ITAR-TASS reports citing the spokesman for EMERCOM Russia in Novosibirsk region. The fire was put out. The damage done is insignificant.
