Georgia resumes transit supplies of Russian gas to Armenia

On August 23, 2014 at 10:00 am, the supply of Russian gas via the main gas pipeline North - South through Georgia to Armenia resumed.

This became possible after the restoration of the main gas pipeline, damaged during a landslide in the Daryal Gorge. Workers managed to restore the damaged area over 2 days.
