Russia:Oil exports down by 5.2% in H1

Oil exports from Russia were down by 5.2% to 109.8 million tons in January-June 2014 year-on-year. The Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reports.

Oil export ratio made up 31.8% in the total volume of Russian exports in January-June and 44.3% in the export of fuel and energy goods (in Jan-June 2013 33 and 46.4% respectively).

The comparative data of Rosstat on oil production in Russia and other leading oil exporting countries, exclusive of gas condensate, show that Russia produced 10.029 million barrels of oil a day in June, while OPEC countries – 29.701 million barrels a day in total (including Iraq and Saudi Arabia – 3.161 and 9.729 million barrels a day respectively).
