Rosneft has been issued a license for the West-Yarudeysky site in the Nadym district in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area, the company reports.
The type of the license is geological study, exploration ad extraction of hydrocarbons raw materials.
The license was issued on August 13th by the Department for Subsoil Use in the Ural federal district.
The Yarudeysky deposit is located in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area. The license is valid until 2029 and is held by “Yargeo” company (Novatek holds 51% in it). The main part of recoverable reserves of the deposit is oil layers – 46 mln tons of oil.
