In 2013-2016, Surgutneftegaz is going to invest 73 billion rubles to Eastern Siberia

In 2013-2016, Surgutneftegaz is going to invest 73.4 billion rubles to Eastern Siberia, the chief geologist of the company V. Chirkov says at the session of the public council of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology. Geological exploration will share 30% of the volume. In 2004-2012, capital investment to Eastern Siberia was 150 billion rubles, including 142 billion rubles to Yakutia. Currently the company prepares 5 deposits in Yakutia with total annual oil production of 7.2 million tons.
