Gas production to go up by 1.6%, export – by 2.8% in Russia in 2013
The Ministry of Economic Development anticipates an increase of gas production in Russia by 1.6% to 665 billion cubic meters in 2013 against 2012. It goes from the amended forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development for the next 3 years.
The domestic demand for natural gas makes up 470.2 billion cubic meters in 2013 (+0.7%). The export of pipeline gas will go up by 2.8% to 183.6 billion cubic meters. The export of liquefied gas to the Asian-Pacific Region may make up 10 million tons.
“Gas supply is down to the Ukraine and Moldova in H1, 2013. The export to CIS countries makes up not more than 57.7 billion cubic meters in 2013,” is said in the document.
