Kazakhstan is going to tender several onshore oil and gas sites

In the near furure, Kazakhstan is going to tender several onshore oil and gas sites. Currently the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan elaborates the project of the Governmental order ‘About the admission of the list of subsoil sites meant to be tendered’ and then they’ll announced the tender for granting of subsoil use rights, the Minister of Oil and Gas, U. Karabalin says.

He reminds that under the law they can close the contracts on non-tender basis for holding of operations by the entity possessing the exclusive right for granting of production subsoil use right in connection with commercial discovery under the exploration contract, for exploration and/ or production by a national company, and for exploration and/ or production with industrial-innovation objects.
