Total won’t operate in Western Siberia with Lukoil

Total has decided to postpone cooperation with Lukoil in joint development of a number of West Siberian deposits due to the western sanctions against Russia, the chief of the company C. de Margerie says. He claims that the project was not launched at all, so, the stop won’t influence anybody.

Meanwhile, last week  the CEO of Total’s subsidiary J. de Boisseson said that the company was not going to cease operation due to the sanctions.
