The Ukraine is ready to pay for Russian gas, but only at the market price. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Ukraine A.Yatsenyuk.
"We are ready to negotiate with Russia, but on the market conditions," - he said.
This statement was made by, A.Yatsenyuk before the new stage of the trilateral meeting on gas supplies between Russia, the Ukraine and the European Union on September 26, 2014.
In the coming heating season, the Ukraine needs to buy at least 5 billion cubic meters of gas.
"The closer the winter is, the more trump cards the Russian Federation has in its hands," - said Yatsenyuk.
