Rosgeologiya has assessed recoverable hydrocarbons resources of the Volga-Ural oil and gas province at 70.1 mln tons of reference fuel.
The study of deep and ultradeep wells was held on the territory of the Kirov region, Udmurtia and Perm region. The assessment was made by KamNIIKIGS which is in the structure of Rosgeologiya.
The works were carried out on the basis of the state contract signed in June 2013 between the north-western branch of the federal agency for subsoil use and NVNIIGG which is also in the structure of Rosgeologiya. KamNIIKIGS is a subcontractor.
