In 2013, growth of mining and re-treatment of gold is expected in Russia

The Russian Gold Producers' Union has made a preliminary forecast on gold production in the current year. The volume of the production may be 240 tons of precious metal before the end of the year that is by 6.3% more than in 2012.

At the same time, 205 tons will be mined from subsoil, 16 tons will be outputted as a result of production of non-ferrous metals and the remaining volume due to processing of scrap metal and gold concentrates.
