Naftogas: the Ukraine to purchase 1 bln cubic m of gas in Russia by the end of the year

The Ukraine will purchase about 1 bln cubic m of gas until the end of the year in Russia, the head of Naftogas, A. Kobolev, said on Monday.
Previously the Minister of Energy of the Ukraine, Y. Prodan, said that Naftogas would purchase 1.5 bln cubic m of gas until the end of 2014.
The head of Naftogas also thinks that it is time to change the existing agreements between the Ukraine, Russia and Slovakia. “We realize Gazprom is not interested in it”, A. Kobolev added. According to him, the sooner these agreements are changed, the better it will be for the EU and the Ukraine.
