Gazprom to annually purchase 2.9 mln tons of LNG from “Yamal LNG” for over 20 years

Gazprom Marketing and Trading (Singapore) and Yamal Trade (affiliate of Yamal LNG) have signed a long-term agreement for LNG supply, a joint report of the companies says.
“The contract presupposes the supply of 2.9 mln tons of LNG a year. The contract is signed for more than 20 years. LNG will be shipped to the APR markets, primarily to India. The price of the contract will be determined by the formula with oil indexation”, is reported.
Yamal LNG OJSC realizes the project of the LNG plant’s construction with the capacity of 16.5 mln tons a year on the resource base of the Yuzhno-Tambey deposit. The start of LNG production is planned for 2017. Yamal Trade is a 100% affiliate of Yamal LNG.
