SOCAR increased gas extraction by 1.5% in 2014

SOCAR in 2014 produced 7 bln 246.1 mln cubic m of gas, by 1.5% more than in 2013, the company reported.
In December 2014 the company produced 595.3 mln cubic m of gas. In Azerbaijan the gas production made up 2 bln 448 mln cubic m.
Previously it was reported referring to the Vice-President of SOCAR for extraction and transportation, R. Gurbanov, that in 2014 the company planned to produce 7 bln cubic m of gas.
In 2013 the total volume of oil extraction in Azerbaijan made up 29 bln 450.6 mln cubic m, 7 bln 139.7 ml cubic m of which were produced by SOCAR.
