SOCAR increased oil extraction by 1% in 2014

SOCAR in 2014 produced 8 mln 402.5 thousand tons of oil, by 1% more than in 2013, the company reports.
In December 2014 SOCAR’s oil extraction made up 705.5 thousand tons of oil.
Previously it was reported referring to the Vice-President of SOCAR for extraction and transportation, R. Gurbanov, that in 2014 the company planned to produce 8.4 mln tons of oil.
In 2013 the total volume of oil extraction in Azerbaijan made up 43 mln 483.6 thousand tons, 8 mln 314.9 thousand tons of which were produced by SOCAR.
