Oil production in the Nenets Autonomous area increased by 6.4% up to 14.6 million tons in 2015. They stated about it in the regional department of natural resources, ecology and agro-industrial sector.
This year oil companies are about to produce over 16 million tons in the region. “The real volume of oil production made up 14 million 645 thousand tons this year (+889 thousand tons or 6.4%),” they stated in the department.
