Rosneft, Gazprom Neft to load Kuyumba-Tayshet

​Rosneft and Gazprom Neft have sent renewed applications for oil supply to the Kuyumba-Tayshet pipeline at the volume of 660 thousand tons in 2017 with the growth to 4.1 mln tons in 2019, Transneft reports.

The realization of the project will be held in 2 stages. The first stage of the oil pipeline with the capacity of 8.6 mln tons will be put into operation in Q4 2016.

The 2nd stage presupposes the projection and construction of the oil pipeline so as to increase its throughput capacity to 15 mln tons with the completion of works in Q4 2023.

Previously the pipeline with the capacity up to 15 mln tons was planned to be launched in Q4 2016 with the applications of companies for the supply and pumping of 9.5 mln tons in 2017.

Aiming for the optimization of capital expenditure Transneft corrected the period of putting into operation of the objects of Kuyumba-Tayshet pipeline providing the required throughput capacity of the oil pipeline in conformity with the volumes and periods of oil delivery stated in the preliminary agreements, Transneft reports.
