The volume of oil extraction in Yugra keeps falling. Compared to 2013, the volume of oil production fell by 1.8%.

“Oil extraction made up 250.5 mln tons, by 1.8% less than in 2013. From 2008 there is a falling tendency of oil extraction in the region on average by 1.5% a year. The fall is connected with the objective changes in the structure of the recoverable resources of the deposits, with the lack of resource capacities due to the gradual exhaustion of old deposits and slowdown of rates of putting new deposits into operation. The volume of natural and associated gas production made up almost 32 bln cubic m, by 4% less than in 2013”, the press service of the Government of Yugra reports.
