Rosneft and Gazprom intend to fight for Murmanskoye field

Applications for five shelf areas in the Barents Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk were filed by Gazprom, and a similar application was received from the company of Igor Sechin.
The companies will compete for sites at the large Murmanskoye field, located in the southern part of the Barents Sea. The reserves of the C1 + C2 categories are valued in the amount of 121 billion cubic meters of gas.
