Novatek’s profit grew twice to 74.4 bln roubles in 2015

Novatek reported on the results of 2015.

In 2015 the sales revenue grew by 32.9% against 2014 to make up 475.3 bln roubles.

The revenue growth is mainly connected with the record rise of liquid hydrocarbons sale, price rise of gas sale, and growth of net price of liquid hydrocarbons sale in roubles in connection with the growth of the average dollar/rouble rate and reduction of customs export duty rates.

EBITDA taking into account the EBITDA in JVs made up 214.5 bln roubles, by 34.4% higher than in 2014.

A significant EBITDA growth is connected with the rise of the stake of liquid hydrocarbons in the total sales volumes, growth of sale of processed products with high added value produced at the Ust-Luga complex.

In 2015 the profit referred to the shareholders grew by twice to 74.4 bln roubles against 37.3 bln roubles in 2014.

A significant influence on the volume and dynamics of the profit was made by the effects from the currency exchange rates and change of a fair price of non-commodity financial tools (including in JVs) and the effect from the disposal of stakes in JVs.
