VSNK has confirmed high efficiency of operational wells of Yurubcheno-Tokhoma deposit

​The “East Siberian Oil and Gas Company” (VSNK), affiliate of Rosneft, on the results of testing 8 horizontal wells at the Yurubcheno-Tokhoma deposit in 2015 had fountain oil flow with the output of 164-517 tons a day.

Taking into account the results of tests of the productive layer in the framework of wells construction, the average output currently makes up over 300 tons of oil a day per well. In 2016 VSNK plans to collect the data on the efficiency after the completion of construction at another 12 new wells.

The operational drilling is held at the accelerated rate at the deposit. In 2015 the actual driftage exceeded 35 thousand m, by almost 16% over the plan. The commercial drilling speed grew by the same rate. The development of the primary site of the Yurubcheno-Tokhoma deposit is mainly held at wells with horizontal ending which is explained by the peculiarities of geological structure and location of oil layers.
