The strategy of geological exploration development in the RF has been developed. It will be presented to the President in Q2, 2013.
As reported by the President of Russian geological community Viktor Orlov, the new approach to geological exploration can entirely change the negative situation with increment of mineral reserves. “The development of Russian geological exploration has almost stopped, thus no discoveries take place and the disproportion between the rate of minerals mining and the rate of the mineral and resource base increment grows. This problem becomes very sharp when it comes to the most liquid minerals such as oil and rare and nonferrous metals”, he explains.
