Severstal to ship metal rolled products for “Gepard 3.9” frigates construction

The Cherepovets metallurgical plant, one of the largest integrated steel making plants in the world (in the division of Severstal Russia Steel), has won the tender for the metal products supply for the construction of 2 frigates “Gepard 3.9” at “Zelenodolsky plant n.a. A. Gorky” OJSC (in the “Holdign company Ak Bars” OJSC GC).
The total supplies volume will be about 1,200 tons. CherMK will ship hot-rolled plates produced at mill -2000, including the construction plates of 10ХSND mark and ship building steel of increased strength of D40S mark.
