Poland is ready to back the reconstruction of the Odessa-Brody pipeline, but doesn’t see economical grounds for it
Poland is ready to back to the development of project of Odessa-Brody-Gdansk oil pipeline, if it receives guarantees of necessary oil volumes supplies, ambassador of Poland to the Ukraine, Henryk Litwin stated.
“It’s necessary to complete the reconstruction of a section from the Polish and Ukrainian sides for operation of this pipeline. We have legal grounds for this reconstruction and we could to start to invest. But we don’t have the economic grounds: there are no guarantees of supplies of the appropriate volumes of Caspian oil at an appropriate price,” – the ambassador said.
He noted that it’s impossible to find investors for the completion of the oil pipeline's reconstruction in these conditions.
