This year, Gazprom to promises to start production at two offshore sites

On Thursday, Gazprom, as if it is answering the criticism, which was heard recently that the monopoly was busy with large-scale infrastructure projects and “didn’t care about shelf”, published its near term plans on the development of its offshore deposits. Thus, this year the concern plans to start the production at two such deposits, and expects to receive licenses for 20 (not 17, as it was said earlier) sites.

The management of Gazprom has considered the information about works on fulfillment of the program to develop the hydrocarbon reserves on Russian shelf through until 2030, the company’s Information Department reported on Thursday.
