Naftogaz takes risks in legal battle with Gazprom, Fitch

The dispute, initiated by “Naftogaz Ukraine” against Gazprom in the Court of Arbitration of Stockholm on terms of Russian gas supply to the Ukraine, bears a risk for the Ukrainian gas company, runs Fitch Ratings’ statement.
“Relation between Naftogaz and Gazprom show political strains between Russia and the Ukraine. However, for Naftogaz it is also a factor, which influences the quality of crediting of the company. There are too much reciprocal claims between the two energy holdings,” UNIAN reports.
