​Rosneft hasn’t addressed Transneft for connection of the Russky deposit to Zapolyarie-Purpe as yet, the head of Transneft, N. Tokarev, said.

If they consider reasonable to connect to the pipeline, we will be glad. If they prefer the Vankor pipe, this is their right. TNK-BP and we applied and the projects of capacities in this direction took into account the volumes that were supposed to come with TNK-BP. Today we can’t see these volumes, he said.

Tokarev said that Transneft has started to load the Zapolyarie-Purpe by purchased oil. This is about 330 thousand tons. We buy it and load the pipe. The launch of the pipeline is planned for November, he said.

From April 12th Transneft started to load the Zapolyarie-Purpe pipeline with oil. The loading will take more than 5 months. Over 352 thousand tons of oil will be necessary to fill the entire complex of objects of the Zapolyarie-Purpe pipeline.
