Court arrested gas of “Gas Ukrainy” for 3.3 bln grivna

​The Court has arrested the gas for the total value of over 3.3 bln grivna which in 2010-2011 was shipped for free by “Gas Ukrainy” to the economic entities, the head of the control department for criminal cases of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Y. Sevchuk said.

“The investigators hold the investigation and work on the return of funds stolen from the previous Government. The former Government workers of “Gas Ukrainy” are accused of free shipment of gas in 2010-2011 for over 3.3 bln grivna. The Prosecutor has arrested the gas that belongs to this economic entity for the total amount of over 3.3 bln grivna as well as the property that belongs to “Rivneazot” for over 30 mln grivna”, Mr. Sevchuk said.

Previously the Pechora regional Court of Kiev arrested about 500 mln cubic m of gas of Ostchem GC of D. Firtash.
