Lukoil admitted to oil tender in Mexico

Subsidiary of Russian company Lukoil has been selected for participation in tender for development of oil fields in the Mexican states of Campeche, Tabasco and Veracruz, with total reserves of approximately 687 million barrels, mass media transmits on Tuesday, referring to the government of Mexico. LUKOIL Overseas will participate in the tender individually. The company is also interested in other production projects in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The subsidiary of the Russian vertically integrated oil companies is included in the list of 26 contenders for the oil fields in Mexico, the National Commission of Hydrocarbons of the country reports. 19 legal persons from the selected organizations are going to participate independently in the tender, while others organized consortiums.
