A new plant in Chelyabinsk to completely replace Italian pumps for Transneft

New plant of Transneft for production of pumps will completely replace Italian equipment, used by the company today, head of Transneft Nikolai Tokarev said in an interview.

"We now partially purchase equipment from Italian partners, with which we implement a joint project on construction of the plant. At the same time, design documentation is developed, staff is trained, and since next year we will localize the production technology at the new joint venture in Chelyabinsk. By the end of 2016, we expect that the whole process chain will be launched at the site of the new plant,"- said Tokarev. He added that the new production will "fully" cover the Transneft’s needs in this kind of equipment.
